About Shashank (that’s me)

Hi! I’m Shashank and I am a researcher at the Institute of Network Coding, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Click here to go to my homepage.

I got my PhD in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

I blog quite randomly (hence the title) and about different topics like Math, LaTeX, Engineering and anything else in general.

I love reading books and playing soccer.

    • Hello Gaurav,

Thanks for your words of encouragement. 🙂 I guess I can’t push myself to type out stuff since I rarely am online. Anyway, lets see, perhaps I’ll blog a bit more in the future. 🙂

  1. hi i have got interview call for ms in aerospace engineering , instrumentation and applied physics and electrical engineering
can u tell me the procedure for that in electrical engineering

    • You will be asked questions mainly on math topics (usually linear algebra, and probability if you have applied for signal processing) and some topics you have studied in undergrad. Assuming that you are applying for MS in some area in signal processing, you will be asked questions on signals and systems, dsp, etc. If you are selected for MS, you will get a letter within 2 weeks. Then, you can talk to various profs and fix an advisor if there is mutual consent.
